KEEPING YOU OUT OF JAIL (AND HELL)!

go to hell monopoly card. Learn hand, stick, knife, gun fighting methods that also keep you out of jail by hock hochheim

I’ve always been concerned with teaching hand, stick, knife, gun fighting, right along with skills that keep people out of jail and-or within the “rules of engagement.” All too often, martial things are taught without ANY situational context. Just you know, killing, breaking, mauling, blinding, stabbing and shooting (though modern shooting classes do the best, comprehensive job worrying about legal outcomes. Many even sell insurance!)

To accomplish this goal, once again, I resort back to the old police equation, who, what, where, when, how and why? The Ws and H. It’s really simple.

WHO exactly are you and who exactly are you fighting?
WHAT is exactly happening? The circumstances.
WHERE exactly is this violence happening? The laws there?
WHEN exactly is this violence happening?
HOW exactly is the violence happening?
WHY exactly is this violence happening?

Each topic is certainly an essay. A book perhaps? (I’ve written one on them already.) We don’t expect you to make all these decisions instantly on the scene. No. We teach and do expect you to pre-consider-forecast these decisions, their problems. Forecast probabilities versus possibilities.

For examples, when is eye gouging legal and when is it not? Break a bone versus hyper-extension? Is the bad guy armed? One must be able to logically articulate actions taken. This is a “cop thing” for sure and it should be your thing too. Crime and war ambushes are very tough, but proper reactions can be imbedded into your action.

Do the right thing! Embed the right thing in your brains and body. Be moral. Be ethical. Be legal. Survival is a before, during and AFTER thing. After too! You don’t want to go to jail, get sued, or both and then have go to straight to Hell… the big afterafter!
