Law Enforcement, Security, Protection Course
“Using Only That Force Necessary”

Peacekeeper! Course for Enforcement, Security, and Responding Citizens
DEFENDER “Police Judo”

This is for street cops, detectives, bodyguards and security, And for citizens who wish to support and them.

“It is not my intention to move in and replace existing police agency use-of-force and tactical programs. Not at all. Defender adds on moves and ideas and reinforces good methods to existing police training programs with advanced applications and innovations in situational and positional problem-solving. I want to re-organize a physical-response system based on martial, police and military combat training statistics and probabilities, event-based, positional and situational scenarios. No single, response (like a bent arm) fits all situations, and martial arts cannot, should not be force-fit, squeezed into street survival. Even the U.S. Supreme Court recognizes how “fluid’ these situations can be.”  -Hock

After over 3 decades of military and Texas law enforcement, Private Investigations, bodyguard /protection work (for clients such as NYC Mayor and presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani) and private investigation, and 50-plus training years in military, police and martial arts -with multiple martial art black belts – W. The Defender – The “Police Judo” Modules:

An important structural framework of these modules is the Collision Six Format—the six common collision and stopping points encountered in a confrontation, arrest, or physical fight. This model is integrated throughout the entire training program and serves as a practical guide for understanding, anticipating, and managing real-world encounters.

The Defender Training Modules are designed to enhance and expand upon the existing knowledge and skills of police academy graduates, in-service personnel, experienced law enforcement officers, security professionals, bodyguards, and other protectors. Much is the same. The concepts presented are consistent with established use-of-force policies and procedures. The material is organized, rather than teaching techniques in isolation, the program emphasizes “big-picture” practical problem-solving for real-world confrontations and their consequences.
