In the 1980s and 1990s, three legendary Filipino Grandmasters traveled the world, introducing and spreading the art of Filipino martial arts (FMA) to a global audience: Grand Tuhon Leo Gaje, and his Pekiti Tirsia Kali. Guro Dan Inosanto, representing Kali and its many influences. Professor Remy Presas, and his Modern Arnis. (Years later, GM Ernesto Presas also made significant contributions, extensively touring the USA, Europe, and Australia.)
The big FMA trio. Gaje. Inosanto. R. Presas. These first “Big Three” were instrumental in bringing FMA to the world stage, inspiring generations of martial artists. The “3 Origins” Seminar is a rare event that honors and pays tribute to these pioneers by exploring the foundational teachings and histories.

* Guro Raffi Derderian – Fully certified Inosanto lineage instructor, deeply dedicated to Kali, lifelong Inosanto practitioner.
* Guro Hock Hochheim – Black belted, private student, and personal friend to both Remy and Ernesto Presas. And an “Inosanto Family” student since the 1980s.
This unique seminar will explore the roots, core principles, key training methods and personal stories of these three influential martial arts masters and systems.
